Sizzling Peppermint Killer Brownie® Sundae

INGREDIENTS:
1 slab of the 35 cut Peppermint Killer Brownie®
4 tbsp butter
¾ cups unsweetened baking chocolate
1 ¼ cups heavy cream
Peppermint ice cream
Chocolate sauce (for garnish)
Crushed peppermint (for garnish)
PROVISIONS:
A pair of heavy-duty tongs
A hot plate
A thick wooden tray (to hold the hot plate for serving)
INSTRUCTIONS:
On a gas stove, heat a hot plate over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Make the chocolate sauce in a medium saucepan by melting together the butter, baking chocolate, and cream.
Add a small drop of the chocolate sauce to the hot plate to test the heat. If it sizzles, it’s ready.
Using heavy-duty tongs, remove the hot plate from the heat and place it on a thick wooden tray.
Place one Peppermint Killer Brownie® in the middle of the plate.
Top with a scoop of peppermint ice cream and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
Then, carefully add the homemade chocolate sauce to the plate for a bit of sizzle.
Finish with crushed peppermint.
Now, it’s ready to be served!
